The Tarka Trail is a network of beautiful walks and cycle paths, perfect for exploring the area's stunning landscapes.
Beer
Famous for mackerel fishing, Beer was once a smugglers' haunt and is now known for its fishing and beautiful cove. Sheltered from the prevailing westerly winds, this sun-trap beach nestles below chalk cliffs, providing the ideal spot to cast a line for some mackerel fishing.
Dartmouth
Vibrant Dartmouth is a harbor town situated at the mouth of the River Dart, boasting a rich maritime heritage. Enjoy great restaurants like The Seahouse and The Angel, shopping, river cruises, and walks along the South West Coast Path.
Wimbleball Lake
With a 7-mile cycling and walking trail around the lake and a riverside walk along the River Haddeo, Wimbleball Lake offers a fabulous setting for water sports and outdoor activities.
